Career and Academic Opportunities

Systems Engineers are in demand across a variety of sectors, including National Security and Defense, Telecommunications, Civil Infrastructure, and Business. Graduates of this dual degree will be able to apply their knowledge to solve problems involved in the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex systems in any of these industries. Students may engage in careers as a Project Manager, IT System Manager, Management Analyst, Quality Assurance Analyst, Software Systems Engineer, and others. Graduates may also wish to pursue further academic accomplishment such as a PhD in Mathematics, Operations Research, or an Eng.D. in one of several fields of Engineering.

  • 60 hours toward the bachelor's degree
  • 12 hours at ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ
Double Counted Courses Include
  • SYE6010 to count for Related Studies

  • Any SYE Elective to count for Related Studies
