Double Owl
The MAT Secondary English program and concentration provides a pathway to GA teaching certification in English grades 6-12. Many enrollees in the program earn their bachelor's degrees in English from ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ. This Double Owl pathway would incentivize students to continue their graduate work at ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ rather than pursuing an MAT degree at a competing institution.

Students should apply to this Double Owl Pathway in the second semester of their sophomore year.
Accepted Double Owl students will need to apply to their Graduate Program by the posted deadline for the semester immediately following graduation with the Bachelors degree.
