Career and Academic Opportunities

The pairing should allow Philosophy/MAPW graduates to find employment in a variety of fields, including publishing, education, business, nonprofits, the arts and public service. Philosophy majors completing the program will bring expertise to writing in additional contexts, including those involving ethics and non-Western thought. With the more recent addition of classes in screenwriting, social media, and web content, MAPW graduates are advancing in the new demand fields, as well.

  • GPA: 3.25 or above in ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ undergraduate coursework    
  • Minimum 60 hours completed toward Bachelor's degree    
  • 30 hours completed in residence at ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ
Double Counted Courses Include
  • CYBR 7000 to count for Upper-Division Elective (3 or 5)
  • CYBR 7300 to count for Upper-Division Elective (4 or 5)
  • CYBR 7050 to count for Upper-Division Elective (5 or 5)
