Career and Academic Opportunities

The Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering is a natural follower of the Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology. This accelerated pathway will give students a unique preparation for advanced positions, such as project manager, engineering manager, senior engineer, etc. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, salaries for individuals holding an electrical engineering master’s degree are 9 to 13 percent higher than the average salary for electrical engineers with only a bachelor’s degree.

Double Owl Admission Requirements

  • ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ GPA: 3.20
  • 60 hours completed toward bachelor's degree
  • At least 12 hours in residence at ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ

Double Counted Courses

  • ENGR 6120 to count for Electrical Engineering Technolgy Elective
  • Any MSECE Elective graduate course - SYE 6010 to count for Electrical Engineering Technolgy Elective
  • Any MSECE Elective graduate course to count for Electrical Engineering Technolgy Elective
