The Master of Science in Engineering Management is a natural follower of any undergraduate engineering degree. Because this degree combines management skills with engineering knowledge, students are uniquely suited to oversee teams of other engineers working on highly technical tasks and serve as the bridge between technical roles and management. This accelerated pathway will give students a unique preparation for advanced positions, such as project manager, engineering manager, quality systems engineer, etc.
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, salaries for individuals holding an engineering master’s degree are 9 to 13 percent higher than the average salary for engineers with only a bachelor’s degree. This pathway will allow a student to complete their undergraduate and graduate studies within 5 years.
