Join us in congratulating our ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ librarians for the three awards they received from the Georgia Library Association!
Last October, several of our ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ librarians were recognized and awarded by the Georgia Library Association.
Rosemary Humphrey, our Interim Assistant Director of Access Services, was the recipient of the McJenkin-Rheay award which recognizes a librarian that has made considerable contributions to the Georgia Library Association and to leadership within libraries.
Chelsee Dickson, our Scholarly Communications Librarian, received the Nix-Jones award.
This award recognizes a librarian that has stimulated library development and shown
leadership in library programs.
Our Organizational Strategy, Communications, and Outreach (OSCO) team was the recipient of the Georgia Library Association Team award. The members of our team are Manda Sexton, Director of OSCO and Assessment and User Experience Librarian, Kristina Clement, Student Outreach and Sponsored Programs Librarian, Jennifer Carter, Assessment and Communications Librarian, and Sean Crampton, Program Assistant. This award is given to a team that has performed extraordinarily well in the last year in support of library service.
