About Gamma Phi Beta

Gamma Phi Beta is much more than a sorority--it is a lifetime of love and friendships with the most amazing, genuine women you will ever meet. Gamma Phi Beta was founded at Syracuse University on November 11, 1874. The Zeta Omega chapter was chartered at ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ in the Spring of 2008. The sisters of Gamma Phi Beta are committed to community service, campus involvement, and academic excellence. We strive to exemplify Gamma Phi Beta’s four core values: Love, Labor, Learning, and Loyalty, and support one another in achieving the highest type of womanhood.

Empowering Tomorrow's Women

We dedicate our time to philanthropic efforts by focusing on Building Strong Girls. Each year we host two philanthropy events, Moonball and Kickoff meets Cookoff to support Girls on the Run, our philanthropic partner. Girls on the Run, is an organization for elementary to middle school aged girls that inspires girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running. In the past three years, we have raised over $30,000 from our philanthropic efforts. With the loyal support of such an amazing group of women, being a sister has provided our members with the experience of a lifetime!
