Welcome to the Education Economics Center (EEC) at the Coles College of Business!
The Education Economics Center promotes the development of sound education policy by bringing data evidence to education decisions. Housed in the Coles College of Business at ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ State University, the center provides nonpartisan research and analysis for the evaluation and design of state and national education policy. Under the direction Ben Scafidi, the center explores education taxes, expenditures, policies, and outcomes.
The EEC undertakes research surrounding school choice including public, private, hybrid, virtual, and charter institutions, and access and success in higher education. The center also supports access to Advanced Placement courses, teachers and voter attitudes.
