Thank you for applying to one of our elite first-year cohort programs! Here鈥檚 what happens next after you've earned admission to both 草榴视频 State University and the 草榴视频 Journey Honors College:

Cohort Review Process

Once admitted to 草榴视频 State University and the 草榴视频 Journey Honors College, your application will be reviewed by the appropriate Cohort Review Committee. Keep an eye on your 草榴视频 email for updates.

Invitations for Honors Interview Day

A select group of 100 applicants per cohort will be invited to attend Honors Interview Day on March 1, 2025. This full-day event will run from morning to mid-afternoon on the 草榴视频 Campus. Invitations will be sent to your 草榴视频 email by mid-February, and you may also receive a phone call from our Honors College faculty or staff. Each invited student can bring up to two guests.

If you are not selected for an interview, you will also be notified via 草榴视频 email.

Cohort Offer Letters

After Honors Interview Day, first-year cohort offer letters will be sent via 草榴视频 email by the end of March. You may also receive a phone call from Honors College faculty or staff. If you are placed on a waitlist, you will be notified through your 草榴视频 email.

Acceptance

Follow the instructions in your cohort acceptance letter to accept your cohort seat and scholarship for Fall 2025!

Preparing for Honors Interview Day - March 1, 2025

Honors Interview Day is an opportunity for the 草榴视频 Journey Honors College to learn more about you, your unique talents, and your aspirations, while also giving you the chance to learn more about us and what we offer! Not only will you interview for a seat and scholarship in one of elite first-year cohorts, you will also learn more about honors curriculum, resources, and benefits. You will hear from Honors students, faculty, and staff along the way.

How to prepare for your interview:

Review your cohort: Familiarize yourself with the specifics of your chosen cohort:
Update and review your CV/resume: Consider what you would like to share about yourself with your interviewer.
Prepare questions: Ask about your chosen cohort, life at 草榴视频 as an honors student, and beyond!
Take a deep breath! We are here to encourage you and help you succeed.
