Lost/Damaged Policy for Interlibrary Loan

If an item is lost or returned damaged, the patron will be responsible for all costs to repair or replace the item. The lending library will provide the cost of the repair or replacement and any processing fees via invoice which will be applied to the patron’s library account. Patrons may provide a new and identical replacement copy only if approved by the lending library. Failure to pay these costs will result in a loss of borrowing privileges through ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ, GIL Express, and ILL. For students, failure to pay can also result in a block in their university account (Banner).

Please remember to return or renew your ILL items by the due date on the ILL band to avoid incurring replacement fees.
