Weeklong celebration to begin with guest speaker on Jan. 16
草榴视频 State University will host a week of activities honoring Martin Luther King Jr. Day beginning with a luncheon and keynote address by guest speaker Roderick McLean.
The MLK Legacy Luncheon will kick off a week of events at the University to honor the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday and celebrate his legacy and impact of the Civil Rights Movement.
During 草榴视频鈥檚 weeklong celebration, the campus community will participate in several activities, including a day of community service at various volunteer sites on Jan. 20, and a reflection on Dr. King鈥檚 legacy 鈥 鈥淪ix Voices: Celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in 60 Minutes鈥 鈥 on Jan. 21.
The luncheon is closed to the general public. Media are invited to attend but asked to RSVP to tdemel@kennesaw.edu.
