Engineering Technology (ENGT) is the hands-on application of science and engineering towards a wide range of real world problems. Engineering technology degrees and engineering degrees are similar, with a great deal of overlap between the two fields of study. Both degrees have a strong emphasis on math and science, with engineering technology classes incorporating a 鈥渉ands-on鈥� approach鈥攖o emphasize the application of engineering techniques, while engineering courses focus on the development of concepts鈥攖heory.
