Financial Aid

The Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid provides financial assistance, resources, and services to students at ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ State University.

We believe students from all economic backgrounds should have the opportunity to attend ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ. Requirements

Please upload the following in order to be considered for a merit scholarship from the School of Art & Design (NOTE: You must have been accepted as a major to qualify for a scholarship):

All images should:

  • NOT exceed a file size of 1500 KB (except for PDF and video files)
  • NOT exceed a resolution of more than 3000 pixels in either height or width

Writing samples should be either Microsoft Word or PDF formats.

BFA Art & BFA Digital Animation

  • Upload ten (10) images of your strongest work. You may include self-directed work in addition to work produced for Art & Design classes.
    Upload a brief (500 words or less) essay describing your career aspirations and how a scholarship will help you achieve those aspirations.

  • Upload ten (10) images of hand rendering, digital rendering, or photographs of actual apparel that represent your strongest work.
  • Upload a brief (500 words or less) essay describing your career aspirations and how a scholarship will help you achieve those aspirations.

BFA Art - Art Education Concentration

Please upload a resume/c.v., indicating activities such as internships, volunteer work, conference presentation, study abroad, classroom experience etc., and ten (10) images of your strongest works, which may include papers, reports or other written work, and a short (500 words or less) essay describing how your work contributes to your plans as a future art educator.

Please submit a brief letter (500 words or less) addressed to the scholarship committee indicating why you would like a scholarship, and, if applicable, what the funds will be used for and your future career plans. Please also upload a resume/c.v., indicating activities such as internships, volunteer work, conference presentation, study abroad activities, and any other relevant related activities, and include samples (maximum of five) of your academic work, which may include research papers, essays, and artworks (if desired).
