The Registered Visitor Process

The Registered Visitor process was established for individuals who may need specialized access for their role while on the ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ State University campus.

A Registered Visitor (RV) may be a Long-Term visitor (LTV), a Non-Paid Affiliate (NPA), a Student Assistant (SA) or an Authorized Individual (AI). The RV process is to track and record visitors on campus, as well as to initiate ordering background checks for individuals who may need specific access that requires criminal background approval. This access may include door access and/or computer access.

  • Temporary employees working with ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ through an approved agency not hired by the university
  • Authorized Individuals (Faculty, Staff, Students, and Volunteers) who may be working with our Programs Serving Minors

The purpose of recording RV’s is to ensure campus safety and security, as well as provide necessary permissions for our visitors.
